After a busy week of emails, admin, client work, and keeping all the moving parts of my business going, I’ve learned that switching off is just as important as getting things done.
My favourite way to reset?
A quiet evening with a coffee, my favourite comfy clothes, and a good book.
There’s something about slowing down, putting the laptop away, and enjoying a little bit of peace that helps me recharge, no notifications, no rushing, no trying to squeeze one more task into the day, just time to relax and enjoy the moment.
I also love the simple things that help me reset after a busy week, going for a walk, catching up on a favourite TV show, reading, doing some diamond art, or just sitting with a coffee and having some quiet time to clear my head.
Those little moments might seem small, but they make such a difference.
Running a business can sometimes make us feel like we always need to be “on.” There’s always something that needs our attention, and it can be easy to forget that we need looking after too.
Taking time for yourself isn’t wasted time.
It’s what helps you come back feeling refreshed, focused, and ready for whatever next week brings.
If you’ve had one of those weeks where your inbox is overflowing, your to-do list is never-ending, and you’re wondering how you’ll fit everything in.
This is your reminder.
You don’t always need to push harder. Sometimes you need to pause, reset, and give yourself some breathing space.
Because looking after yourself is part of building a business that works for you, not one that leaves you feeling drained.
I would love to know what your favourite way to reset after a busy week is?
