Do what is necessary for your business.
Working with entrepreneurs is one of my favourite parts of my job.
They are enthusiastic about their work and ideas. Their business is cared for as if it were their child. Working is part of their lives.
That’s good news.
Despite their hard work and long hours, many entrepreneurs feel they aren’t achieving what they want to achieve… despite their efforts.
Feeling inefficient and pressed for time, they believe they don’t have enough time to do everything.
These tips can help you stay focused during the working day and accomplish more.
1. Determine your goals.
Some clients move in 15 different directions every day. It is common for them to jump between things without a clear plan. There is always something shiny that catches their attention. It is best to set a measurable goal that is easy to accomplish.
2. Make a plan for achieving goals.
Decide on five or six activities to increase your revenue. It is possible to raise prices, attend more networking events, write a newsletter and publish on LinkedIn. These are some ideas to increase revenue.
3. Create support systems.
Tracking your goals is crucial to executing your plan. Publish a newsletter every two weeks and attend networking events to increase revenue.
Maintain a spreadsheet to track your progress and make course corrections midway through.
4. Don’t be afraid to say no.
Say no to requests that do not align with your goals. Don’t let an excellent idea (no matter how good) distract you from your goals.
Plan and set goals quietly. Also, do it separately from your day-to-day activities.
Be clear in your language and remove ambiguity. Stick to it, even if you are short on time and energy. Be sure to update your systems.
This way, you will be more focused, accomplish more and enjoy your business more than you thought possible.
